Playing pool was a hobby of Steve's life. He learned at a young age on his Uncle Tom Pazur's table, and became a pool fanatic. Steve received his own pool table in early 1999. Situated in the basement game room at his house, it provided hours and hours of entertainment for Steve, his Dad, uncles and lots of friends.

Another favorite pastime of Steve's was playing Scrabble. Ever since his early years, Steve's Mom and Dad enjoyed the word game, and Steve was anxious to show his vocabulary. In time, he finally surpassed even his Dad's ability to score 60 points with one word.
