Homemade fresh coconut cake with seven-minute frosting. It was a "must" for every birthday that Steve celebrated. A lot of work to peel, chop, grate. But then again, if it's only once a year, it's worth the work. And Steve was worth it. Below is Steve's 16th birthday party on August 2, 1998.
