Home Up Cemetery Notes from Friends Goodbyes from Ohio Steve's Obituary Funeral Mass From Steve

Stephen W. Pazur, 18, dearly beloved only child of Bud and Denise Pazur, of W7119 County Road N, Town of Mitchell, entered his eternal life on Wednesday, September 27, 2000.

Steve was born in Cleveland, Ohio on August 2, 1982. He lived the first 14 years of his life in greater Cleveland, attending Holy Trinity Catholic School there and first discovering his love of fishing, hiking, camping and horseback riding during his early years spent in Ohio.

Steve moved with his mom and dad to Wisconsin in June 1997. There he entered Plymouth High School. Steve had held part-time jobs at Plymouth Fleet Farm, Hardee’s, the Dollar Tree, and most recently the Cascade Cheese Company.

Steve had a great love for art and a talent for writing and poetry. He was a sensitive and thoughtful young man, and a loyal friend to many at Plymouth High School and in surrounding Sheboygan County neighborhoods. Friends recall his steadfast loyalty to them, his non-judgmental attitude, and his hearty laughs. They also recall his thoughtful words, and his special ability to lift their spirits even when he was down. Steve and his close friend Mitch N. were fondly known by the nickname “Jones and Jones” to one another and by all their friends.

He shared an appreciation of music and trombone prowess with his father. Steve helped his dad build a basement recreation room to host his friends and enjoy one of his favorite pastimes, playing pool. He shared his deep love of reading with his dad, especially J.R.R. Tolkien’s books Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit.

Steve also shared a great love of the outdoors with both his parents, enjoying campfires, and long walks and canoeing with his mom and dad. He also appreciated long late-night talks with his mom over hot cups of tea with honey and lemon, his favorite beverage.

He had a profound love for his three cats, Casey, Penny, and especially his Mickey. He had two box turtles, Malley and Duncan, who were very special to him as well.

Steve was extremely close to and deeply loved by his many close cousins, aunts, and especially his paternal grandfather.

Steve is survived by his mom Denise and dad Bud; grandfather Andrew S. Pazur and Mary Ellen Eisele; Uncle Tom and Aunt Bonnie Pazur; Aunt Paula Dawson; Uncle Jim and Aunt Ann Pazur; Aunt Marysue and Uncle Keith Kovach; Aunt Pat and Uncle Dennis Sears; and cousins Loli and Neki Pazur; Wil Dawson; Blake and Tim Hoppe; Jamie and Ryan Pazur; and Ribeka Kovach; and Erika Sears.

He is also survived by many other loving relatives and friends in Cleveland, Ohio, Pittsburgh, Sheboygan County, and beyond.
